We’re now 5 weeks into our winter series and had to cancel twice, once on the day Henderson got hammered with thunderstorms & once when heavy rain was predicted (but didn’t arrive). Based on this we are going to run the “Winter” series for as long as the weather permits. These will be in the daytime on Saturdays from 1 PM and where possible in parks providing cover that we can use to shelter from light rain.
Our late May, early-mid June schedule is:
- May 24th in Falls Park, 22 Alderman Drive, Henderson. A pretty park a short walk from Henderson Rail Station with a traditional rotunda at the northern end of the park that can be used as a wedding venue during the summer months. We’re not going to be there in Summer so fingers crossed.
- May 31st in Tahaki Reserve, 250 Mount Eden Road. A short walk from the car park takes you to a large grassed area with a covered stage. In good weather you can use the grass & in rain we should be able to continue on the stage.
- June 7th in the Cricket Pavilion in Auckland Domain. This provides shelter in all but the worst rain. Parking is available with entry from just uphill of the corner of Carlton Gore Road & George Street.June 14th in Jellicoe Park, Onehunga, Recycled from the summer season, we’ve moved up the hill a little but otherwise unchanged. Enter the park through the Memorial arch on Quadrant Road & you’ll see us.
- June 21st in Selwyn Domain, Mission Bay. Again recycled from our Summer series. We set up near the changing rooms.

All our shows are true open mics with a continuously rotating cast. If you’d like to perform, you can sign-up to perform at our google form or just come along to watch and if you’d like a go, talk to the MC and we’ll squeeze you in if we can.

| We’ll keep a close eye on the weather forecast for the day of the show & if possible will give two hours warning of any cancellations by posting a message on the Facebook event for the show. We can’t always get notifications out quickly on other places so please tag yourself as going on our Facebook events. |
